228920 Hypertherm Powermax 900 mechanised plasma torch retrofit upgrade, 7.6m long

Hypertherm 228920 retrofit / upgrade mechanised plasma torch for Hypertherm Powermax 900 plasma cutter with Quick disconnect torch and 7.6m leads. The original RT60M torch 083217 (7.6m) and 083218 (15.2m)  are now obsolete and this torch is the perfect upgrade to keep your machine in production.

This Duramax retrofit torch can give older Powermax systems a new lease of life with enhanced performance and productivity and allows your system to use the exact same spares as used on the current Hypertherm Powermax systems. 

Upgrading your torch will also open up the use of Fine cut spares for improved edge finish on materials under 3mm.

 Hypertherm ceased production of the Powermax 900 in 2001 and in April 2020 they announced that consumables for this system will also cease production in November 2020 making the system completely obsolete. As a Hypertherm partner we can offer 2 solutions to this problem. 

1)  Supply you the 228920 plasma torch and use the current range of Duramax consumables used on the powermax 45XP, 65, 85 and 105.
